Privacy Policy
CalenForm ("we", "us", or "the add-on") is a Google Forms editor add-on that creates or updates Google Calendar events based on form responses. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the add-on and our website.
Information we access
With your authorization, the add-on accesses:
- Google Forms — questions and response data for the form where the add-on is installed (
forms.currentonlyscope). - Google Calendar — calendars you select, and events created or updated by the add-on (
calendarscope). - Your Google account email — to identify your subscription and active forms (
userinfo.emailscope).
The add-on also uses Google Apps Script to show the configuration sidebar and install form-submit triggers on your behalf.
How we use information
- Map form answers to calendar event fields according to your configuration.
- Create, update, or attach guests to calendar events when forms are submitted.
- Enforce subscription limits (e.g. one active form on the Free plan).
- Process payments and manage subscriptions through Stripe.
- Provide support and improve reliability of the service.
Where data is stored
- Form configuration — stored in Google Apps Script document properties on each form (per-form settings).
- Subscription & licensing — your email, plan tier, Stripe customer ID, and list of active form IDs are stored in Google Cloud Firestore.
- Payments — handled by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers.
Form response content used to build calendar events is processed in Google Apps Script at submission time and is not copied to our servers except as needed for licensing metadata (form ID and title when you enable the add-on).
Google API Services User Data Policy
CalenForm's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In summary:
- We use Google user data only to provide and improve CalenForm features you configure.
- We do not sell Google user data.
- We do not use Google user data for advertising.
- We do not allow humans to read your form or calendar content except when necessary for security, compliance, support with your consent, or legal requirements.
Sharing with third parties
We share limited data only with service providers that help operate the add-on:
- Google — Forms, Calendar, and Apps Script (core functionality).
- Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
- Google Firebase (Firestore) — subscription and license records.
- Netlify — hosting our website and billing API endpoints.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Data retention
- Per-form configuration remains until you remove the add-on or delete the form.
- License records are retained while your account is active and as needed for billing and legal obligations.
- You may request deletion of licensing data associated with your email by contacting us.
Your choices
- Revoke the add-on's access anytime in your Google Account permissions.
- Disable automation with Disable in the add-on sidebar to remove the form-submit trigger.
- Manage or cancel paid subscriptions via the billing portal in the add-on or by contacting support.
Security
We use HTTPS for website and API traffic, API key authentication between the add-on and our backend, and Stripe webhook signature verification. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure; we work to protect data using reasonable industry practices.
Children
CalenForm is intended for form owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
